Tylah is a hands-on Production Designer and Art Director who thrives on creative problem solving. Having spent his entire career in film and television, which started with a paintbrush in hand on The Hobbit trilogy he’s never really had a “real” job. Instead, he’s spent years scribbling, building, decorating and taping things together to bring big ideas to life across a range feature films, TV shows, commercials and events.

A calm head in chaos, he believes the best ideas come from strong collaboration. With a knack for pulling off the impossible on tight budgets and putting the cash where it counts on the big ones, Tylah is known for his resourcefulness and creative adaptability across all genres and scales.

Recent feature credits include the admired drama/comedy Chrismess, upcoming action film Seven Snipers starring Tim Roth and Radha Mitchell, and The Room Below, a psychological thriller featuring Alyssa Sutherland and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

When not on set, he is likely script writing comedy or building something strange in the shed. He has worked across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, and the U.S and is always up for the next wild ride.
